Description

Carboxytherapy – treatment with carbon dioxide (CO2) is used to improve blood flow.

In this treatment, a machine generates CO2, which is injected into the skin using a small needle, which stimulates the flow in the subcutaneous blood vessels and increases the elasticity of the skin.

The procedure is suitable for skin rejuvenation (especially under eye bags), correction of scars, stretch marks as well as smoothing wrinkles. It is also used to regenerate hair roots in case of hair loss.

Carboxytherapy

Facts

  • Local anesthesia
  • Outpatient procedure
  • Procedure takes about 30 minutes
  • Recovery in 1 day

During the treatment, CO2 is injected into the treated area, improves blood flow and is subsequently broken down by the body enabling rejuvenation.

  • After application, the CO2 slowly diffuses and disappears within a few hours. Bruising may occur in some areas after application and persists for several days.
  • No restrictions are necessary after the procedure, but it is recommended not to bath for 24 hours.

This therapy is also suitable for the treatment of cellulite, in which fatty tissue gets under the skin through the connective tissue and becomes visible in the form of lumps. Carboxytherapy is applied once a week for 6 weeks for this treatment.
